Kindergarten Registration

Registration and Resources

Your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1. No exceptions.

The School District does not test for early admission to kindergarten under any circumstances.

Any 6-year-old child, who did not attend kindergarten, may attend kindergarten instead of 1st grade, at the written request of the parent(s).

The following items below are documents REQUIRED for registration

  1. Proof of your student’s age.  Examples of this include birth or baptismal certificate, medical records with students date of birth
  2. Two (2) documents showing your address.  Examples of this could be a lease, deed or utility bills with your name and the address in which you reside
  3. Shot (Immunization) Records.  Obtain this from your child’s physician if you don’t have a copy already

**Parent or Guardian photo identification (requested but not required for registration): examples of this could be drivers license, passport, or a state photo identification card

Please take the information you gathered (your forms of identification and immunization records) to the school.
